Multifix

FAST CURING 2-COMPONENT METHYLMETACRYLATE ADHESIVE THAT HARDENS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE

          General info: 

          MULTIFIX is a fast curing 2-component methyl metacrylate adhesive that hardens at room temperature.
          The two components, the resin and activator do not have to be pre-mixed. The hardening process starts as soon as the activator comes into contact with the resin.
          MULTIFIX fills gaps up to 0,8 mm. After 2 to 5 minutes the pieces can be handled, and after 2 to 3 hours MULTIFIX will have obtained 90% of its total definitive strength. MULTIFIX comes in two versions:

          • MULTIFIX: amber coloured - for bonding where a filling adhesive with a high viscosity is necessary.
          • MULTIFIX CLEAR: transparant - for bonding where a transparant joint and low viscosity of the resin are desired.

          Technical information: 

          Temperature resistance: -35°C to +155°C permanent / +180°C: 30 minutes.
          Cleaning: non cured: KSS-SSO; cured: mechanically.
          Consumption: 180 to 300 gr/m² at layer thicknesses of 0,15 to 0,25 mm.
          In case of larger layer thicknesses, or if a fast curing is desired, apply the activator on both surfaces.
          Shelf life: 12 months, keep dry, cool and frost-proof.
